Not to sound morbid or anything, but, doesn't this strike you as a dead smiley cookie? This is not merely a smiley cookie that has been dropped on the ground. It is dead. D-E-A-D.

Stop Moving Truck

I was trying to do stop motion here up on the hill in Highland Park. It worked out, in a weird way. The trees are like a dream.

This was the first photo of the first roll of the film I ever shot with a real camera (aka a non-Holga camera).
It's my favorite.

Crooked Neighbors

In a land far away from your cushy home is Mount Oliver, the bastard stepchild of Mount Washington. People who live in Mount Oliver claim to live on Mount Washington and people who live on Mount Washington wouldn't venture to Mount Oliver if their lives depended on it.
This was taken atop Mount Oliver in one of their menagerie old timey graveyards. You can just barely see Pittsburgh off in the distance.
It's a pretty good view for a bunch of dead people. ;)

Blicken Sie auf!

Look up! This is the ceiling of the ballroom in the Pitt union building. That line of lights made the negatives really interesting. Off of this one image I was able to get a wide variety of prints. By tweaking with exposure times and different types of print paper I was able to change the aesthetic of those lights completely.
When my photography teacher, the infamous and fantastic Anthony "Uncle Antwon" Goodwin, saw this picture he said:
"No. No, no, no. You can't be taking photos like that. No. NO! Not until after art school. Go kill yourself."

Ticking Tocking

I took this photo in the Bed, Bath, and Beyond in the Waterfront. I was walking around snapping pictures of things that didn't need their pictures taken...shopping carts, rocks, slushie machines. This photo still turned out to be one of my favorites of the day. I like how it's a bit of a mind trip.
